Tom's Barbecued Spareribs


Ingredients:

One slab of spareribs
Liquid Smoke
Garlic Salt
Your Favorite Barbecue Sauce
Celery Salt
Pepper

Pull membrane from top of ribs and fatty meat portion. Lightly sprinkle both sides of ribs with liquid smoke and rub in; lightly sprinkle other ingredients over both sides of ribs. Place on grill over indirect heat and cook until end of bone is exposed about 1/2 inch, approximately 2-1/2 hours. Turn ribs every 45 minutes. For spareribs which are even more moist and tender consider dabbing beer onto meat as it cooks. Baste frequently with barbecue sauce for the last 30 minutes. Serves two to three people.
